Hi,
I'm using uccx 8.5.1, cucm 8.6.2 and qm 8.5.2.100 as VM server on ucs c210 server. I try to config qm as Network recording. I think it support extension mobility in this version but I'm not sure. I'm already config all functions follow the document but it not tell much details.
Unfortunately, I cannot find document about Administartor guide for config user. I'm not sure how to config recording with extension mobility (user profile).
Anyone have the document or can suggest me about how to config qm admin?
I have one question about ucs c210. Can I install monitoring service and rcording service in the same server? If UCS c210 support server recording
(SPAN) ?
Thank in advance

Hi,
EM is supported in QM 8.5.2. You need to
- Add all devices that an agent could possibly log in with the the list of devices in VOIP Devices in QM Admin. Select the recording server details. Do not associate an agent with this device, leave it as user login required.
- Add the agents profile to the list of devices in VOIP Devices, and assign the agent (set up in QM) to that profile.
- Add all phones that an agent could log in with to the QM Jtapi application user in CUCM
- Add the device profile to the QM Jtapi application user in CUCM
That should work fine.
I've only tried this with network recording, not sure how/if EM works with server recording (span) .. but from what I can see in the docs it should be OK too.
You can install the network recording and server recording services on the same server, but this reduces the number of agents you can record at one time.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for you help. You have a document in detail for config network recording which not Installation Guide. I'm afraid
that I may config somthing wrong CUCM.
If I config QM Admin as your suggestion, Do i still need to config team, group and workflow in QM admin as Desktop recording?
Thank in advance

The administrator guide has details on how to set up agents for recording ...
You still need to configure the agent, team, group and workflow as normal.
