Hi,
I'm installing ICM-8 , by logging in as a normal domain user in the ICM server. I have installed the ICM setup ,but not able to open the websetup page. It shows as login credentials dont have the rights to access the page ,error -https 401.1. Does the login ID should have certain kind of privileges?
Add on to that, as per my understanding Websetup runs on Tomcat and IIS needs to enabled only on Webview server.
But the link http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/WebSetup:_Login_Does_Not_Display states that IIS has to run on the server to open the websetup.
In that case IIS needs to be enabled on Rogger as well? Please advise.
Regards
Krishna

Hello Krishna,
The requirement is that Authenticated users require credentials of a domain account with write privileges to the ICM OU. Note that this domain user has access only to the ICM OU and it is imperative that he will be able to create users within the OU which will have only privileges pertaining to ICM. These users need NOT be given write privileges outside ICM hierarchy .
In "active directory users and computers", go to "View>Advanced Features".
Right-click the user from the list below and choose "properties"
Go to "security" tab and give this user full control.
Regards,
Justine.

Is this a new installation, or an upgrade installation? What version are you installing?
I've run into some pretty severe Tomcat problems in my upgrades recently.
