Is there a way to disable the newcall button on ip communicator when the phone is on hook?

Hi Hassan,

as far as I know the "New Call" softkey is a mandatory key in the softkey layout config as stated by the "**" reference.

Hence if you try to remove it you get the message "The mandatory Softkey -- NewCall (NewCall) cannot be removed."

Yeah i also know that there is no way to remove the newcall key using custom softkey template. The issue is we are running an inbound call center and the agents use the newcall key to reduce their NOT READY time. So is there anyway some other SCCP client or programming that i can perform to remove the newcall key.

Please need help!
