Hi,
I am currently integrating QM8.5.1 with CUCM8.5 and UCCX8.5.
There has already an AppUser created on CUCM by UCCX as JTAPI user. Now when I am linking QM with CUCM, I am wondering if I should create a new JTAPI user for QM only, or I should reuse the JTAPI user for UCCX.
I think it should be two separate users but just to double check with folks here.
Thanks.

Hi
Traditionally, it's often considered good practice to have seperate accounts for each service. This is a good thing for various reasons...
However, I tend to make an exception for these accounts:
UCCX-RM User
UCCX-'Telecaster' user
AQM-JTAPI User
The reasons I make this exception are mainly to reduce the number of support calls I need to deal with. Each of these accounts needs to be associated to all the contact-centre related phones. If a common account is used, my customers only need to remember to associate the phone to one user account - and if they fail to do this, the software reminds them to do it when an agent logs in.
If I use seperate accounts, they'll forget to update them all, and not updating the AQM and telecaster users has a less obvious effect.

Thanks so much for the clear explanation. It's beneficial to use single user association from operation perspective.
