I have a customer that is requesting the following:
Have an agent make an outbound call to a location, let say the agents is in florida and call a service center in colorado. we want the caller id and name to show as if they are calling from the office in colorado.
is there a way to do an db dip to pull this information and make the call?
using uccx 8.5
thanks

Are you talking about internal or PSTN call?
Caller ID inforamtion is always driven by phone configuration and calling party transformations that you can do along the path of the call flow. Please describe your call flow in more details and we can provide possible solution.
But this is all going to be CUCM driven, not UCCX.

Yes, I know these are outbound, but outbound to where, PSTN?
If you want to adjust the outbound caller ID based what you are calling, then you will need to build called party transformations in CUCM to match every potential route.

Yes, these are going to the PSTN.
But, can I do a screen pop for the agent to fnd the service center by searching for the name. click to dial then CUCM will take over.
thanks
