Hello,

In PCCE/UCCE Outbound option, is there a way to either:

- change the transport of SIP Dialer from UDP to TCP

or

- set the source port of the SIP Invite sent from Dialer to Voice gateway to 5060?

Thanks,

Hello @bill.king1,

Yes, the port is 5060, but it is Destination Port, and it is UDP, Source Port is a random one.

My question is: can we set Source Port to 5060? Or change transport from UDP to TCP.

Thanks,

This is an older defect, but is an enhancement request to allow for TCP and it still shows open

You might want to check with Cisco to see if this is in fact resolved or still out there.

Hi @bill.king1,

I just found a Registry entry to change the source port of Dialer to 5060 (default is 58800). So it is ok for us right now (we have issue with firewall team, I believe they blocked the return traffic from VoiceGW to Dialer when seeing the port 58800). After changing the source port to 5060, Outbound call works for us.

The registry entry is SIPDialerPortBaseNumber, under SOFTWARE\Cisco System, Inc.\ICM\Dialer.

Thanks,
