We have started to look for a replacement  agent phone, which currently is the  7965.

While no direct successor was given by Cisco, we were directed towards the 8800 series phone.

The 8841, and 8851 are the candidates.

Environment:

CUCM 10.5.1

UCCE 10.5.2

88XX models should be the way to go to replace 79X5, 8841 vs 8851 vs 8861 is irrelevant for agents and the differences are things like USB port, Wi-Fi support, etc. So, any 88X[15] model is good replacement.

Refer to below Compatibility Matrix that shows the various supported phone models that you can use with UCCE for different functionalities. Without any doubt, 8841 and 8851 phone models are a good choice to go ahead with since they support all the things except a few such as Video and IPv6(SCCP). However, the main deciding factor should still be the cost involved in purchasing of these phones hence discuss it with your Cisco Partner or Accounts Manager and then go for the one that are most cost effective

Thank you Deepak Rawat

We are talking with our Partner as you suggested.

Was just seeing what others are doing as well.    I like to get at least a few opinions.
