Restoring UCCX Backup to a server with a new IP address?

Can you restore a CUCM backup to a same version server that has a different IP address than that used to do the backup?

Building out a new Cluster using PCD we changed hostnames and ip address for the new cluster.   Now we are going to do a "jump" upgrade of MCS based UCCX from 8.0.2 to ESXi 10.6.  We will start with a virtual the new UCCX at the same version, but with a different IP address.

See any problems here?

No, DRS restore requires the same IP and hostname, however you can build PCD jobs to perform the migration and then change IP and hostname and it does it without creating any conflicts.

Chris have you ever used the TASK on PCD to change the hostname and ip after the migration.  We created our new cluster and used the option to change hostname and IP when we migrated the old cluster.   We are thinking we want to change it back and note there seems to be a task to do this!

I personally have not, but have couple of colleagues that did it and told me it worked well.
