Is it possible to transitioning from a medium size System UCC Enterprise supporting up to 300 agents (Progger configuration) to a Large System UCC Enterprise supporting up to 1000 agents (Rogger plus System PG configuration)?
If yes, what are the steps?

For sure YES.
Steps varry from based on your architecture, needs and budget.
Asssuming all on one site then yes you can do the bare minimum and I prefer you use the sizing tool. If any other combination get your Cisco account rep involved they will help quite a bit.
Good luck,
Baseer.

Hi,
first you should install the pg on the new box and configure it for your peripherals BUT DO NOT START the PG.
In a maintance Window stop the old one and start the new one.

Hi there,
you will need to involve your Cisco Sales rep to assist, but you need to look at different scenarios for this:
1) System Load
How are you going to distribute your agents across the new system PGs? Are you going to add IVR ports? If so by which number? What will be your new figures for Call Handled and peak time?
2) IP Telephony system
You will need to take into count also wherever the underlying IPT Deployment and Network will scale to the additional load requested or the number of devices will request any additional node..
3) Reporting
Check on the Admin Guide, but the System PG Reporting solution is quite different then the IPCCE one since it allows reporting at the parent and child check wherever this change will suit your customer.
Once this and other scenarios have been taken in consideration and collected, it would make sense to add the needed servers and licenses via the needed tools.

Riccardo
