The purpose of Cisco Unified CCX WebServices

 Can anyone tell me, what is the purpose of Cisco Unified CCX WebServices in UCCX ? I couldn't find the description of this service neither in Google nor at Cisco site.

I have a problem with authentication at UCCX CUIC (users are visible in security tab but I can't login under any of them) and only problem that I could find is the Cisco Unified CCX WebServices in shutdown state. Can it be the reason of the problem ?

I don't think so, but again, it's really hard to tell without actually lookig at the system.

Anyway, can you please post the logs from that CUIC instance?
