Time zone issue in Centralized UCCX

We have centralized Contact Center in one of the location. Due to recent DST changes in server location, the remote sites time of the day has changed. So we have manually updated off set time to resolve the issue. We still got confused how this happened even tough we have selected local time zone in Time of the day. could you let us know if anybody has better option to resolve this issue automatically.

Setting TZ[local] as a timezone within Time of Day Step means that UCCX will use the server that is currently acting as Master. That means, TOD will work as per the time that the current master server will be showing up when you issue utils ntp status.

In an ideal situation, if you are pointing UCCX to CM wherein DST cop file is provided every time when DST starts/ends then this should not be a problem as UCCX will sync its time from CM and once DST cop is applied on CM same should reflect on UCCX. If you are pointing UCCX to a NTP server then you will need to adjust TOD accordingly such as if time has moved 1 hour later then set start time as 7:00 AM if you want CC to open at 8:00 AM.
