TTS Speed thru Say It Smart

Is there a way, we can reduce the speed of TTS while speaking numbers. For example, while speaking 123456789, there should be a certain seconds of delay between each digit.

See other answer, for this particular scenario you want to use the <prosody rate> in your VXML app.

I tried using prosody rate but it's not slowing the speed of TTS. Please advise if this is correct.

Vendor specific - but it does work with Nuance TTS.

I believe it's a standard, I've tested this with Nuance, LumenVox, and Polly.
