Hi,
I am planning to implement UCCE 8.5/CVP for a customer. I want to know what is the best practice for AD integration, whether to use customer's corporate Directory or have a dedicated domain for UCCE?
Can anyone point out any implications of both the setups?
Thanks,
Manu

Most of my delpoyments in recent years have been with corporate AD, I dont see a reason to isolate it at all.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the info.
Am I going to lose something if I use a separate AD for Contact Center?
Thanks,
Manu

You will not lose much except for supervisor being able to use corporate passwords, etc. But you will need to build out and manage seperarate AD, including dedicated domain controllers, etc as installing DC on Loggers is no longer supported.

One of the drawbacks comes when the customer decides to change the domain name urgently for some reason
In this case, you will need to run the "User Migration Tool" that will migrate the users from the old domain to the other.
