UCCX 2020 holiday.xml

I have been updating my holiday.xml files for years now so they are known working from last year.  I updated them so today was a holiday.  It did not work and I am wondering if there is something that the format does not like for this year 2020?  This is a snippet of the file.

<Holidays>
<Holiday1>
<Holiday>01/01/20</Holiday>
<StartTime>00:00</StartTime>
<EndTime>23:59</EndTime>
</Holiday1>
<Holiday2>
<Holiday>04/10/20</Holiday>
<StartTime>11:59</StartTime>
<EndTime>23:59</EndTime>
</Holiday2>
<Holiday3>
<Holiday>05/25/20</Holiday>
<StartTime>00:00</StartTime>
<EndTime>23:59</EndTime>
</Holiday3>
<Holiday4>
<Holiday>07/04/20</Holiday>
<StartTime>00:00</StartTime>
<EndTime>23:59</EndTime>
</Holiday4>

Thank you

I don't have an editor since being upgraded to Windows 10 and it won't let me install it from the one I grabbed off my server. Good thing the next holiday is a ways off.

ah! ...another issue to resolve. Yes, you can download your editor from your UCCX server plug-ins menu on the UCCX appadmin UI. There are some tricks to getting it installed on Windows 10:
1. You must be an administrator on your PC...Cisco still has not fixed this in later releases either. (I am still on release 10.6...btw) ...and I know more more Group Policy controlled (Windoze) network environments discourage the practice of operating a PC as Admin. Can't win for tryin' there...
2. It has to be installed under "Compatibility" mode for Win7
...there may be one other option that is necessary that slips my memory. But if you get that far and it still doesn't work, let me know. I'm always willing to help.

Great info.  I will try after my shift is done.

Hi @Julie Oblak,

Can you share the uccx script how do you create to validate the time and date?

I did the script to validate the date but the time I haven't sucess.

I might be missing something, but why would you need to evaluate the time frame for a holiday? Would not the entire day be a holiday?

If you’re question is about something other than for how to handle holidays you’re advised to put it into your own post as that would be off-topic to the OP.

We are a large health care facility and do have departments that work on holidays.  Many times their hours are limited on the holiday.

Then maybe you are in a position to help @fabio.alves111 with his question?

I think the Fabio might be interested in the actual script programming that you have in place for the time check part.

Hi @Julie Oblak ,
If you can.
I would like to know how did you do the uccx script to verify the time?
I did the script to check the day it's work but to check the time doesn't work.
Thank you for your time.

I'm so sorry but I can't find a good example.  We have been off uccx for quite a few years now and I think most of the files that we had were on the servers and would have been lost once we decommissioned them.
