UCCX 7.0(1) - Kicking off a script within a script

I have a script that I need to put a step in to kick off another script that will start another app external to UCCX. How do I kickoff another script within an active script as a step - then continue with the rest of the original script? Thanks in advance.

The Trigger Application step in asynchronous mode does exactly what you are asking for. The problem is there was a bug (CSCtd72562) that caused issues with this step in the 7.0 releases. You may need to upgrade to 8.0 for this to work reliably for you.
