UCCX 7.0 Windows 7 Agent Desktop Support

Team - we heard UCCX 7.0.(2) may support windows 7 but I do not see a release date yet. Is there a way to support windows 7 in UCCX 7 SR5?

I have one customer using the compatibility mode - I do not know if this is reliable and also TAC may not support. Is the only option to support Windows 7 desktop is to upgrade UCCX  to 8 or 8.5? Thank you.

Hello Rajan

You are right UCCX 7.0(2) will be compatible with Windows 7 Environments but the release has been delayed until the 2nd Quarter of this year.

At this point there is no supported way to run CAD/CSD/HR software in winrows 7, as you mentioned you can try to run it in compatibility mode but if you face any issue TAC will ask you to test using a Windows XP machine because Windows 7 is not supported.

As you mentioned as well the only the only option to support  Windows 7 desktop is to upgrade UCCX  to 8 for 32bits machines or 8.5 for 64 bits machines
