Hi,
We have a UCCX cluster with 2 nodes running version 8.0.2.10000-41
We have upgraded both nodes to version 8.5.1.11001-35 and switched the publisher to this new version. We applied the new licenses and the publisher was OK
We then wanted to switch the version of the subscriber to the new one, but this fails. When doing it via the webinterface, nothing happens.
When trying it via CLI, after a while we get this error message : Sync after switch version failed
I have allready tried the following :
What else can I try to get this resolved?
Thanks,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,
Use the recovery CD to swap the versions.Download the Recovery Software from the Cisco site, and burn it to CD as ISO image, boot the server using this CD , then use option (S) to Swap the active and inactive partitions.

Hi,
Thanks for your respons. I have downloaded the iso and mounted it (uccx is running in vmware). When I reboot the server, it boots directly into uccx and not into the recovery CD.
I tested the recovery cd in an empty server and there it boots without a problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeroen

Hi
VMware has a BIOS for the VM just like a real PC; in there there is a boot order. Make sure the CD drive is higher order than the HDD.
Also ensure that you have 'connect at startup' set if it's VMware workstation.

Aaron
