UCCX 8.x license

Dear NetPro gurus,

I have a customer who has recently purchased brand new Cisco CUCM 8.0.   And together with the package,  I have a PAK for CCX-80-NEW-STD-UWL (CCX 8.0 NEW STANDARD for UWL)

However, when i tried to install the CCX 8.0 CD that came from Cisco, i got a Media check error.  And even if i tried to ignore it and install, the installation fails half way through and the system is halt.

So now I have the following questions:-

1)  My collegue has a UCCX 8.5 DVD, can i use this instead?? Will the license works??

2)  If not, since my DVD for UCCX 8.0 fails, can i download the following files from CCO and will they work??

- UCSInstall_UCCX_8_0_2_UCOS_8.0.2.11004-12.sgn.iso_part1of2

- UCSInstall_UCCX_8_0_2_UCOS_8.0.2.11004-12.sgn.iso_part2of2

And do i need to combine the ISOs once i finish downloading for it to work??

Would appreciate any help on this.

Hello,

Another CD will work , the license don't care about the media from where it came from.

The files from cisco is only for upgrade , not for fresh installation , you need to install from CD .

You need to combine the two files into one so you can use it for the upgrade.
