UCCX and Nuance, ASR license utilization?

I've always "known" that UCCX holds an ASR license for the duration of the call, while TTS is released after use. I played around in my lab and couldn't get definitive proof that this was the case. Has anyone looked at this recently and can confirm when the ASR license is released? Is it one the call reaches the agent or when the call is ended?

What are the parameters of your tests?

I was just on a call the other week with Nuance confirming the same, and this seems to still be the common knowledge out there.
