uccx backup error:UCCX DB replication is not setup properly

Hello,

Backup failing on uccx 8.5.1.10000-37 (HA) when trying to take manual backup.Error: UCCX DB replication is not setup properly, Backup Completed.

Already checked replication which is fine as both server showing two entry and connected/active.

Please share how uccx backup issue can be fixed.

It might be worth checking the datastores.

Check all 4 items on the drop down.

Config Datastore, Agent Datastore, Historical Datastore and Respositry Datastore

Both Read and Write should be Yes and should show Running for both servers under Replication Status

Hi Brajesh,

Please check the CCX databse service on both servers and all the datastores.

If one of the datastores is not working then disable CDS/HDS on primary.

Enable CDS/HDS on secondary.This will kick back replication for all the datastores.

You can try reset replication also  after disabling and enabling datastores, to see if you can overcome this backup issue.

Make sure all the datastore pages show running and then try the backup.

Hello Graham/Chakshu,

Manual backup worked later on Friday (reset replication done on thrusday).

But In historical datastore there is only primary uccx server entry on both servers and status coming as unknown.Rest 3 datastore status is running and showing two entry on both UCCX servers.

To fix historical datastore do we need to disable/enable CDS/HDS on secondary and primary respectively?

Try restarting both the servers in off production hours.

Primary followed by secondary.

Also you should consider upgrading to 8.5.1SU4
