UCCX Finesse 10.5 Cannot Load Embedded Web App Gadget

Hi,

I've deployed uccx 10.5  on my lab and also activate finesse service.

I'm trying to embed my web application on finesse desktop page.

For Starting, I've download Embedded WebApp Sample Gadget 10.5.1 from devnet.

Finesse sample gadgets

Then I uploaded that file into 3rdpartygadget server.

On Finesse Administration, I already add gadget code on Desktop layout xml.

And Then, When I logged in as Agent, The gadget not loading anything like image below

The Gadget should load www.cisco.com Web page.

Anyone can help?

Hi

Probably your browser will block the cisco website because of a mixed content problem (finesse is https and the cisco website http).

Try to include a https site or enable mixed content in your browser.

I've tried to embed HTTPS site, all works as expected.

Unfortunately, the site we need to integrate is HTTP.

Is there a way to embed HTTP site on UCCX Finesse?

Hi Bagus

Yes of course. But this has nothing to do with Finesse. Modern browser will block mixed content for security reasons. But you can configure them to allow this. Just google for the browser you use and mixed content and you can find a lot of manuals how to do this.

I'm having some challenges with this as well but it's more about where I'm inserting in the default layout.  Can you post a screenshot of the layout html that you used to get this to work?
