Hello,
We have dates.xml and it has been working fine in UCCX. Meaning, if I call into our company on a holiday, it will announce "today is a holiday and we are closed".
We closed early the day before Christmas. So before we close, I edited dates.xml, added 12/24/2015, uploaded the updated dates.xml into UCCX document management, and if I call into the company main line right after i updated dates.xml on the 24th, it does not announce "today is a holiday". But I called on Christmas day, the holiday greetings came alive. Anyone has any idea why holiday is not announced? Thanks in advanced!

Can you post the copy of your XML File. It could either be two things. Either the dates are not set properly for the 24th or in your script, the date check is set to true and it bypasses the holiday call flow. What does your script look like? Does it check the holiday before it checks the dates?
Essentially, if its case 2, it sees that you are still open so it takes the default open path which would probably checking in the time and proceeding to the next flow.

After uploading the updated dates.xml file did you click the refresh button on the right side of the page? Without clicking the refresh button, memory doesn't get updated with the new file. I ran into something similar after uploading an updated XML file. My script didn't recognize the changes in the XML file until I clicked the refresh button. After that, my script worked correctly.
