I am running UCCX & AQM with remote agents. All my inbound calls arrive on a SIP CUBE from the PSTN. Currently my remote agents have a Cisco 831 with Site-to-site VPN back to the corporate network leveraging Desktop Recording (Endpoint). We are looking for alternatives to this approach without having to use softphones.
- I see in the Quality Management Design guide (http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/workforce_optimization/qm_11_5/installation/guide/qm-design-guide-cisco-115.pdf) that only Cisco 831 & 871's are supported for remote agents. Does it really matter what device is terminating the site-to-site VPN? Can we consider other devices like Meraki to terminate the site-to-site VPN?
- With Gateway Recording (CUBE) it seems like there may be some limitations with screen recording. Can anyone elaborate?
- Would I be able to totally get rid on the site-to-site VPN architecture by having the phone register via MRA leveraging Network Recording for audio & agent PC remote access VPN (anyconnect) for screen recording?
Any suggestions/feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Frank
