UCCX, SocialMiner and CUIC

The ordering guide for SocialMiner 10.x indicates that CUIC needs to be ordered for reporting and provides SKUs. 

All well and good, but if the SocialMiner system will be used with UCCX (which has CUIC embedded), do I need to have a separate CUIC server?  This just doesn't seem right, and the more people I ask about it, the more confusion there seems to be. 

If you're deploying SocialMiner with UCCX, is an additional, separate CUIC instance needed or not?

The CUIC embedded on CCX will only show what is in the db_cra database on CCX. This will include some reporting for chat and email queuing (see the reporting user guide for details). It will not show any data that is on the SocialMiner server itself. This would include any social media related activities. Chat transcripts are also only in SocialMiner, though I'm not sure that even a standalone CUIC shows that; that's only in the SocialMiner UI.

Even if you add the DSN and import the SocialMiner report templates???  I looked and the UCCX CUIC has the capability to add these things.
