UCCX7 backup issue

Hi everybody,

why i can not change the UCCX7 (run on Windows2003) backup and restore username and passowrd? when i change the username and password and update it show's that invaild username or bad password.

please give me some suggestion!

Hi

The BARS username and password is the username and password of an account on the target system that you are backing up to.

The backup is output to a share (e.g. \\serverx\share) so if you want to change the password, you need to update the account on serverx, then update the BARS configuration to match.

Hi

Neither :-)

It uses a Microsoft SMB file share, i.e. a shared folder on a Windows server.

From UCCX8 when it switches to a Linux OS, it uses SFTP as the other UC apps do.
