upgrade UCCX7

Hi Everybody,

our customer want upgrade UCCX7 to UCCX8.5, could you please give us some suggestions?

currect version:

Cisco Application Administration - 7.0(1)_Build168

what steps we need follow up? thanks. I know that only from 7.0(1)SR5 can upgrade to Version8.0.

But I can not find my current version match which version in cisco?

Hello,

You need to be awae that upgradeing from UCCX 7.X to 8.5 is a migration (not only upgrade) starting UCCX 8.0 , cisco converted he UCCX to VOS platform , so you have to be very careful especially if you are doing a common upgrade (on the same hardware).

The install and upgrade guide have a step by step upgrade guide and it will also show you how to convert the license from 7 to 8

Also you have to check if the hardware you have is supported for UCCX 8.5 (most of them are but check anyways).

Thanks for your information. Could you please let me know, is there have any process/procedure that we need follow upgrade UCCX7.0(1)_build168 to UCCX7.0(1)SR5?

Can we directly apply the uccx7.0(1)SR5 in Windows 2003 operation running uccx7.0(1)_build168?
