Hi Everyone,
Since I'm a newbie to call studio,I just wanted to know Whether to go with JNDI or Custom classes to talk to database and why?
Please help me out with a java class to talk to the database which can fetch a single record from database and prompt the same to the caller,
And Helping with JNDI setup would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Sai

Hi Sai,
Request to refer - Custom Java Classes with Call Studio .
Thedatabase element provides the ability to execute an SQL command on external databases within a voice application call flow. The element requires JNDI to be configured in the Java application server to handle database connections. Only a single SQL statement can be executed per element.
Request to refer - section Database of the Element Specifications for Cisco Unified CVP VXML Server and Cisco Unified Call Studio Release 9.0(1)

Hi Geevarghese,
Thank you for your reply,
I would be very happy if I could get a sample class file for action element which can fetch a single entry from the database?
Thank you
Sai
