Hi,
take a look at the "Getting started with scripts" document at

you are directly pointing me towards the scripting. I want to go step by step.
Thanks

And what exactly do you mean by step by step. Or, rather, what is it you want to start with? A press-this-button-then-press-that-button-like book is not available.

Hi,
welcome to the wonderful world of UCCX :-) Please fasten your seat belt, it is not going to be a smooth ride.
What I would do:
- make sure you are familiar with the following terms: ACD, CTI, JTAPI, TDM, VoIP, basic telephony features (forward, transfer);
- obtain a server or a beefed up PC, put VMWare ESXi and then install CUCM and UCCX - it's relatively easy if you choose the deafult options;
- try to create realistic scenarios, e.g.: "I want to build a basic call center with two agents and simple queuing", "let's create an IVR with 3 options" etc. and try to implement them. Later on, I would check out the scripts and example applications (refer to the link I sent).
If you get stuck, read the documentation first. It's not easy for a beginner, but helps you to get familiar with the documentation - and yes, you will need it even when you become an expert.
If you are really, really stuck and there's no document or already answered thread, then create a new post here, including the detailed description of your problem and the steps you tried to solve that particular problem.
Good luck.
