Which audio editor to use

Hello all,

What do you guys use/recommend for editing IVR prompts? I'm open to open source as well to commercial applications. I mainly need it for cutting & pasting parts of existing prompts into new files.

dodgy way is you us CIPC and record them with windows sound recorder and re convert them to g729.

CUCM can be usered to convert the prompts for stanard u-law wav's to g729
