In the Licensing Cisco NX-OS Software Features document I see the following licenses in the section "Feature-Based Licenses for the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series in Cisco NX-OS Mode":
N9K-LIC1-24P - 24-port license for Cisco Nexus 93108TC-EX,93108TC-FX,93180YC-EX,and 93180YC-FX switches.
N9K-FX-24P-UPG= - 24-port upgrade license for Cisco Nexus 93108TC-FX and 93180YC-FX switches
I like to use the 93180YC-FX in the NX-OS mode. How many ports can i use, when I don't have any of this license? And what is the difference between them?
Thank you in advanced for any help/hint.

Apparently there is a new sku N9K-C93180YC-FX-24 with only 24 ports active and an upgrade option for the remainder when needed.

When used all 24 ports of the 48 port switch, without upgrade license in use. Are the unused 24 ports down or not able to transport data?
