Help with DC design with 9K

Hello Experts,

Need help with designing DC with new 9K running NX-OS mode.

Currently we have 2x4500 running as core in VSS mode. The cores are connected to NX-5596 for 10G connectivity to servers and 1G through 2232 Fex. Purchased new 2x9504 which will be the new core. What would be the best design to make use of existing 5596 to take advantage of 40G. Any other recommendation is appreciated.

So what is the end goal retire  2x4500 with new nexus gear ?

Yes, the goal is to decomm 2x45K with 2x95K as core.

If you replacing with 4500 with nexus9K and connecting to exiting nexus 5K

look at enhanced vpc for the best options.
