Hello Experts!

So my clients wants to implement C2348TQ fex which has 6 uplink fex port to the Nexus 5K.

But in nexus 5K there are just 2 tengig port. Can we just use those 2 tengig port as fex uplink?

Hi @SubnetWarrior

You can use breakout cable to split the 40G NIF ports (network interfaces) of the FEX to 4x10G.

Supported QSFPs are listed in table 2, section Fabric extender fabric interface type

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/nexus-2000-series-fabric-extenders/datasheet-c78-731663.html

Cheers,

Sergiu
