Hello
I have just noticed that our "active/standby" N9K pair does not have supervisor modules installed:
VCR1C1R4CS2# show module
Mod Ports Module-Type Model Status
--- ----- ------------------------------------- ----------------- ----------
1 48 1/10G SFP+ Ethernet Module N9K-C9396PX active *
2 12 40G Ethernet Expansion Module N9K-M12PQ ok
Mod Sw Hw Slot
--- ---------------- ------ ----
1 7.0(3)I2(3) 1.0 NA
2 NA 1.3 GEM
Mod MAC-Address(es) Serial-Num
--- -------------------------------------- ----------
1 x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x xxx
2 x-x-x-x-x-x-x-xxxx
Mod Online Diag Status
--- ------------------
1 Pass
2 Pass

I was hoping to manually fail over the traffic from the active switch to the standby but it doesn't seem possible:
VCR1C1R4CS2# show system redundancy status
Redundancy mode
---------------
administrative: HA
operational: None
This supervisor (sup-1)
-----------------------
Redundancy state: Active, SC not present
Supervisor state: Active
Internal state: Active with no standby
Other supervisor (sup-1)
------------------------
Redundancy state: Not present

There is a vpc peer-keepalive interface which is up and the two devices are able to see each other:
VCR1C1R4CS2# show vpc peer-keepalive
vPC keep-alive status : peer is alive
--Peer is alive for : (55957378) seconds, (952) msec
--Send status : Success
--Last send at : 2018.09.04 22:23:08 191 ms
--Sent on interface : mgmt0
--Receive status : Success
--Last receive at : 2018.09.04 22:23:08 191 ms
--Received on interface : mgmt0
--Last update from peer : (0) seconds, (532) msec
vPC Keep-alive parameters
--Destination : 172.19.10.48
--Keepalive interval : 1000 msec
--Keepalive timeout : 5 seconds
--Keepalive hold timeout : 3 seconds
--Keepalive vrf : management
--Keepalive udp port : 3200
--Keepalive tos : 192

Am I missing something? How do I fail over traffic from one N9K to the other?
Thanks
AO
