Shutdown Nexus 1000V VM

is it possible to shutdown Nexus 1000V with a sw command or the only way is to power off the VM ?

From the CLI you can only reboot the VSM (afaik); I do not see a shut down or power off command anywhere so you are right.

Hi helenio,

VSMs can only be completely shutdown by powering off the VMs. Shutdown VM is not available because no VMware Tools are installed inside the VSMs.
