Sync-status: Not yet merged

Hello Friends,

We have an issue with Sync-status of our Nexus 5596 series switches. Please find the below status. I tried to resync-database, removed the peer destination and tried to import the configuration into the conf sync mode. But yet the sync-status wouldn't become "merged" and also the verification and commit would fail. I tried doing it from primary and also from secondary nodes. Do I have to remove the configuration from config Terminal mode and manually execute the configuration in Conf sync mode or is this a bug in IOS. Please assist me to fix the issue. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks and appreciate your help!

before apply any config, make sure you configure only 1 of the switch all the time to sync the config.

verify both the switch config - make sure they are inline with each other.

then try adding new config with sync - it should work as expected. (if the config is different on both the switch may not work) - like if you have single home device conencted one of the switch and that config required to config only relavent parent switch.

here is some referene for troublieshoot. :
