Hi all,
Ucs Firmware 2.1 or 2.2.
Does UCS B series (FI A and B) supports VPC-HM with manual subgroup or CDP subgroup with 2 or more interfaces in the same subgroup ?
Example
Vmnic 0 and Vmnic 1 in subgroup 0 connected at FI A.
Vminc 2 and Vmnic 3 in subgroup 1 connected at FI B.
If dosen't support it, the UCS B series supports at least one Vmnic per subgroup ?
Thanks.

Hello,
You cannot have more than one vmnic in the same sub-group when connecting to the FI. If you have more than one vmnic in the same sub-group, you would need to configure a port-channel on the switch side. This is not possible in case of FI.
So for your configuration, mac-pinning is the only option.
Also, the recommendation is to move away from sub-group manual/cdp and use mac-pinning.

Shankar
