Hello All,

I have a Cisco 2811 running IOS adventerprisek9-mz.12.4-15.T and a

HWIC-4ESW POE installed. When I plug in a 7960 phone it does not power up....thoughts please

Do you have the POE PS ? "show env" to know.

Do you have power inline under interface? Beside that I'd to see "show diag" and "show env".

Hi,

Can you please paste the show diag output and cross verify if you see "ILPM-4=" part number in that output.

Also check if the power supply which you have is "AC-IP".

If you have the ILPM module for the HWIC and a POE enabled power supply in the router - make sure you have the cable that runs from the poe supply to the motherboard.

Likely power supply is not AC-IP model.
