3 Problems: Codec, Remote Sites, UCCX

Hi

I have some certain issues that I couldn't resolve till now, I appreciate if someone can give me a hand.

Case:

CUCM 8.5

UCCX 8.5, Codec 711

Telephones in HQ and Remote, codec between regions is 729, within region it is 711

Problem 1:

When calls are being transferred to remote phones through UCCX (Auto-Attendant), the call drops.

Problem 2:

When calls are being transferred to HQ SIP phones through UCCX (Auto-Attendant), the call drops.

Problem 3:

When checking call statistics after a call between regions, sometimes it shows 711u.

I will appreciate if someone enlightens me.

You need to use transcoders between the remote site and UCCX, the xcoders need to be defined at the HQ site to allow streaming of g729 accross WAN and trascode to G711 at HQ, UCCX cannot negotiate different codecs.
