I am thinking about using the 3905 for a customers project as low level phone...

Do they support usage of CTI / remote call control... ? we want to user a third party CTI client with the 3905 phones...

i was not able to find any specifc informationen about that fact...

can anybody provide more information ?

Thank you

Michael

Hi,

The 3905 is the ONLY phone that has no controll from CTI.

Even 6901 (the phone without display) and ATA's have this option!

Weird, weird,

JH

Hi

3905 is not supported for Click to Call. Supported phone list is in below link

See "Supported Cisco Unified IP Phones" section

Hi,

Yes I know, I already figured this out, just saying that this is the first phone that doesn't support click-to-call.

And to be honest I think Cisco makes a mistake with this! All phone's must support this!

It is a step back, regardless if this is a cheap phone or not.

It would be better if Cisco came with a new way to do click-to-call like skype and lync are doing click-to-call.

Instead Cisco removes this functionality for a brand new phone!

Just wrong.

Hi all,

Is there an improvement for this phone ?

Can they add this on the wish list ?
