6901 Ip Phone not working

Hi All,

I Have an issue with 6901 phone, Our CUCM is 7.1.5 2000-6. Always get a reorder tone from the phone, not registering to the CUCM. Configuration done manually on CUCM with SCCP.

Switch has inline power, since other model ip phons are working with the same port, not sure why only 6901 model not get registered.

I  done the Firmware and device enabler to 9.1.1. Done same on all the nodes. Restarted the TFTP service. Still the problem persist.

Anyone has this kind of issue? Do we need external power source?

Regards

John

Have you followed the Installation guide properly?.

Before using the 9.1(1) firmware for Cisco Unified IP Phone models 6901 and 6911 with Cisco Unified Communication Manager Release 7.1.3, 8.0.1, 8.5.1 and higher, you need install the Device Enabler on the Cisco Unified Communication Manager publisher in the cluster.

The 9.1(1) Device Enabler for the 6901 and 6911 is listed below.

Follow the steps religiously.

If that doesn't we could try installing the appropriate device pack. from
