6921 stuck on loop resulting with no dial tone

CISCO 6921 phones have the message  as per “phone no1.jpg”, rather than the more common “missed call” screen.

If the details soft key is pressed  it then loops between “phone no2” and phone no3”.  Under all  circumstances  picking up the handset does result in a no dial tone.  Pressing the  speaker  button gives a dial tone, after which the handset works as  expected. Please help!!!!

Did you ever get a resolution to this? I've got one 6921 exhibiting the same symptoms...

Which firmware is this?

Try the latest 9.0 release available on CCO. There's been a few defects fixed where a few of them have to do with missed calls and dialing.

Agreed.  This sounds like a phone firmware issue.  If the issue is still seen on the latest release, open a TAC SR and it can get looked at in more detail and a potential bug can be filed.

Thanks - in my instance i'm running 9.0.3 which is the latest.

Will go with the TAC option.
