Guys,
Need some quick info on getting a feature working on a 6945. When a user places a call on hold, then attempts a new call using the "new call" soft key. The phone does not allow it and gives a message that there are no lines to complete the call and does not allow the call tp be placed. Is this a limitation of the 6945?
cheers

The behavior you're describing was the original intent of the 6900 phones. Cisco unfortuantely caved to people who wanted to buy cheaper phones no matter how bad the user experience and added multiple call support in SCCP 9.2(1) on CUCM 8.6(1). This only works if the phone is using SCCP, not SIP. You seem to meet those criteria so you just need to adjust the Maximum Call and Busy Trigger settings on the DN of the phone.

Start mentioning system and version you're using, as well phone firmware.

Thanks - yes increasing the number has provided access to the feature.
