7841 IP Phone - Inactive Load Failure...

I attempted to upgrade our 7841 phones to the latest firmware. When we do we get the following error and the new firmware does not download:

Registration: Registered with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 192.168.1.20
IPv4 Address: 192.168.5.10
Active Load ID: sip78xx.10-3-1-12
Inactive Load ID: None
Download Status: Failed
Requested Load ID: sip78xx.11-0-1-11
Download Server: 192.168.1.20
Inactive Load Failure Reason File Not Found

I confirmed that the hash value matches and I downloaded and installed the firmware twice. And restarted the TFTP service on the Publisher and all subscribers.

Was the sip78xx.11-0-1-11 load file installed on all servers followed by TFTP service restart?

You are correct Manish, that was exactly the fix for the problem. After I posted this problem I uploaded the firmware to the rest of the subscribers and the upgrade was successful. I did not realize that uploading the firmware to the publisher does not replicate to its subscribers. The primary TFTP server for our phones is one of the subscribers.

Thanks!

Good to know that, thanks for updating us. Yes, TFTP files like firmware images, custom MoH files, background images etc are not replicated across servers, they need to be uploaded individually on all servers.
