7925 phone becoming unresponsive

Hello All,

  I have a customer that has some 7925 phones.  Every now and then they go to use the phone and the screen is black, like it is turned off.  The buttons are not responsive.  The only way to get it to come back on is to remove the battery.  it doesn't happen while  on a call.

I am wondering if its maybe entering and getting stuck in some kind of "sleep-Mode"

anyone run into this before?

Thanks for the link Justin!

however that link seems to point to latency issues and dropped calls etc.

these phones work perfectly and never drop any calls. However every once in awhile when you go to use one the phone is unresponsive and you have to remove the battery to get it to work again.

Was thinking maybe something getting stuck in sleep mode
