Dear All,

I have got 7925 wireless phone which is not registering, and I get the following errors.

image download failed

AOM installation failed

I have manually configured IP address information on the phone and also mention phone load name on configuration window still no luck.

May I know how to factory reset this phone? Any other troubleshooting suggestions please?

Thanks in advance

May I know how to factory reset this phone?

Settings > Phone Settings > **2 > Y

This phone is showing configuring CMList on the home screen. I have configured IP address manually.

I tried with factory reset and the phone shows the attached errors.

Firmware version: CP7925G-1.4.7.3

First picture says "Updating firmware".  This means the wireless network is fine.  The phone is able to join the wireless successfully and went to the correct CUCM cluster.

When the 7925G firmware was added to the CUCM cluster was the TFTP service restarted?

Hi Leo,

I have not added firmware, but devicepack was upgraded recently and all the other phones were able to upgrade their firmwares respectively.

Clear the config and try again.

Tried the same a couple times, but no luck.

I think this phone has some hardware issues because I see the signal/network icon fluctuates continuously. I am finding similar phone model for testing and will update you.

When this is happening, does this phone register with CUCM?  If it does, enable Web Access and then HTTPS into the phone.

The first two pages of the website is crucial because it can say whether or not the phone has the right settings or not.

This is happening while the phone is trying to register with cucm.

When I checked with network team they said this device was not able associate with access point.

This is happening while the phone is trying to register with cucm.

That's incorrect.  If the phone is showing "Updating firmware" this means the phone is able to find a CUCM cluster, downloaded it's config and is downloading the firmware.

When I checked with network team they said this device was not able associate with access point.

The phone was able to associate to an AP because the "signal bar" showing GREEN.  And the phone able to contact a CUCM cluster.
