7941 Handset doesnt work until you hit headset button

  This behavior just started on about 4 7941 phones.   When you pickup a call or try to make one, user gets nothing until they hit the headset button.

Is this a simple fix on phone?  I did swap out phones with one affected user and a working 7941 and that user no longer had a problem.  ? RMA?

Hi Craig,

This could be a mechanical problem with the handset.

Yuo can raise the RMA for other phones as well and get replacement from Cisco.

Did you find out with the problem was?  We have several 7941 doing this also.
