7942G stays registering...and no dial tone

Hi,

I have CME 8.6 and one 7942G at the same LAN called LAN A.

Another 7942G phone is at different LAN, called LAN B.

CME shows that both SIP phones has been registered and router can see both mac addresses. Both phones can get their numbers from CME.

Ping is 100% ok from CME to the phones.

The problem is:

when I try to call from LAN A 7942G -> to LAN B 7942G, the phone at LAN B rings but user is unable to answer it. When user picks up, he can hear nothing. User can see that incoming call is coming and the phone rings but LAN B phone status is all the time "registering"......though it rings!?!

And also when user at LAN B picks up, he can't hear dial tone. So calling from LAN B phone -> to LAN A does not work.

Is there some configuration missing or why LAN B phone stays all the time registering status....though CME tells that this phone has been registered?!?

I have tried another 7942G phones but this same problem still occur. Thanks for help!

So Signalling from CME ----- Phone is working

But RTP  Phone ---- Phone doesnt work

This should be a packet routing issue between the two vlans. Verify if both the subnets are pingable to each other. Check inter-vlan routing configurations. Basicalll, ping from both the subnets to the other phone subnet and see if it is pinging.

Hi,

source ping from CME router interface -> to LAN B 7942G phone works OK!

I try to share my CME config later today.

Here is my CME current configuration:
