I have just received my first 7970G and I can not get it to register to my elastix server below is the SEP<mac>.cnf.xml file. I have been using 7940 and 7941's and they have worked.
All the 7970G does with the cnf.xml file below is Registering with the loading symbol
I use an external TFTP server located on a completely different server addressed with Option 150 via DHCP

<transportLayerProtocol>4</transportLayerProtocol>
When using 7970, this XML value should be a "2" and on Elastix, the transport protocol should be "UPD only" or "UDP". If the phone still doesn't join, then change this to "TCP only" or "TCP".
On the Elastix, disable NAT.
