Hi,

I wanted to know if we can put some text info as the screensaver on the phones. All the docs I have read deals with images as screensavers. Or is the only way to get text is to convert an image of text?

Sure but you will need to use the XML SDK and built your own application to do it. There is an Idle URL parameter at a global and per-device level. You can specify the URL the phone should open after a defined period of inactivity. If it's just text, you just need a web server that will serve up a properly formatted XML file.
