802.1x Migration

Hi Experts,

CUCM: 9.1.2

New CUCM: 11.5

We are in the process of migrating our phones to our new call manager 11.5 - different IP and hostname - from call manager 9.1. We have 802.1x configured on the phone. Just wondering if we upload the cucm 9.1 capf and callmanager certs as capf-trust and callmanager-trust and phone-sast-trust respectively to cucm 11.5. Will phones still register? or is there any other way to register the phone seamlessly to cucm 11.5. Thanks.

Have you done Upgrade via DRS or Fresh Install. ?

Hi Haris, we restored using DRS then upgraded to 11.5.

Changing the CUCM hostname does not regenerate the CAPF certificate. If you actually did a DRS Restore the exact same CAPF certificate should be in place on the 11.5 publisher.
